### _This Marinated Feta is tangy, herby, and full of flavor! It takes just minutes to prep but still tastes gourmet thanks to Brightland's new Everyday Line that makes everyday magic in the kitchen. Just let the feta hangout in this flavor-packed oil with shallots and herbs and you’ve got a fridge snack that feels fancy with zero effort._

## Ingredients

- 16 oz feta cheese in brine, cubed
- 1 large shallot, quartered
- 3-4 long strips of lemon rind
- 3 sprigs of fresh oregano
- 3 sprigs of fresh thyme
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, roughly chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, plus more if desired enough olive oil to cover the feta, about 1 cup
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

## Instructions

1. In a clean glass jar, add the cubed feta, lemon rind, herbs and spices. Cover to the top with the olive oil then add the balsamic.
2. Seal the jar and refrigerate 4 hours or up to overnight. Enjoy with grilled pita, crispy garlic, cucumbers, tomatoes and olives.
