Living a life full of ardor is something we want to unapologetically pursue, and that starts with the things we are enthusiastically passionate about right now: Welcome to our Summer 2019 Love List, curated by [Brightland](/content/site-root.html) founder [Aishwarya Iyer.](https://www.thecut.com/2019/03/interview-aishwarya-iyer-founder-of-brightland-olive-oil.html) #### 1\. I love their innovative colors and names, like [Weekend Upstate](https://www.backdrophome.com/products/weekend-upstate-standard) and [Aperitivo Hour](https://www.backdrophome.com/products/aperitivo-hour-standard)[.](https://www.backdrophome.com/products/aperitivo-hour-standard)Their paint brightens and elevates spaces in a very special way.” #### 2\. [Erin McKenna's New Santa Monica Bakery](https://www.erinmckennasbakery.com/) “As a former New Yorker, I have been a long-time fan of Erin McKenna’s vegan baked treats. Thus, I am so delighted that she opened a charming bakery and cafe in Santa Monica last month...and am equally delighted that [Brightland’s ALIVE](/content/products/alive/index.html) is found in the space as well as in select baked goods.” #### 4\. [Raveena](https://raveenaaurora.com/) “I discovered this Indian-American R&B/soul/jazz/electronic artist this summer and have been playing her music non-stop while cooking. Think Ella Fitzgerald meets Corinne Bailey Rae with introspective lyrics and beautiful melodies.” #### 4\. [ARDOR/Marleigh Culver](http://www.marleighculver.com/) [Ardor](/content/collections/shop/products/ardor/index.html) was inspired by vintage Vogue magazines, terracotta, spicy, hot summer days and dusky evenings, and I'm so thrilled to have partnered with the amazing [Marleigh Culver](/content/blogs/field-notes/q-a-with-ardor-artist-marleigh-culver/index.html), who created an unforgettable label. This is going to be my summer oil, [pasta salads and pizzas](/content/blogs/field-notes/3-ways-to-use-brightlands-chili-oil/index.html) galore." #### 5\. [The Well Journal](https://www.therasalife.com/well-journal) “[Brightland](/content/site-root.html) friend and stellar nutrition coach Mia Rigden of [The RASA Life](https://www.therasalife.com/) recently debuted this incredibly thoughtful [journal](https://www.therasalife.com/well-journal) that empowers you to take a moment to reflect on your day and serves as a powerful mindfulness exercise. I also love the [journal](https://www.therasalife.com/well-journal) because it is truly the intersection of design, function and wellness.” #### 6\. [The Hoxton Hotel](https://thehoxton.com/?channel=ppc&gclid=CjwKCAjw67XpBRBqEiwA5RCoceCzQj1V7bQJPADudUXLz3aQfIhutLwZIAoeTWoKhdovxIJXoA2mCxoCrlsQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds) “[Brightland’s](/content/site-root.html) brand philosophy and ethos is around celebrating the everyday, and taking a moment to enjoy the simple things, like being at home. In the instance that we find ourselves _away_ from home, it’s pivotal to find spaces that bring us back home, no matter where we are...and the Hoxton does just that. With chic hotels in cities like [New York](https://thehoxton.com/new-york/williamsburg/hotels), [Chicago](https://thehoxton.com/illinois/chicago/hotels), [Paris](https://thehoxton.com/france/paris/hotels) and one opening soon in [downtown Los Angeles](https://thehoxton.com/california/downtown-la/hotels) (blocks from [Brightland HQ](/content/site-root.html)!), each space feels authentic, warm, welcoming and ultimately -- feels like home.” #### 7\. [Garance Dore's "Pardon My French" Podcast](https://www.wearedore.com/theminis/carte-blanche-kids-on-growing-up/) “When I am cooking a longer, larger meal, I find myself listening to podcasts: “[Pardon My French](https://www.wearedore.com/theminis/carte-blanche-kids-on-growing-up/)” by [Garance Dore](https://www.wearedore.com/) is my current favorite. Garance is a bold, creative, gracious artist, designer, tastemaker and entrepreneur (and a friend of [Brightland](/content/site-root.html)!) and she and her team dive into fascinating topics ranging from ‘myths of adulthood’ to fascinating interviews with industry pioneers, like [Hotelier Ian Schrager](https://www.wearedore.com/features/pardon-my-french/ian-schrager-boundary-pusher/). > What are _you_ loving this summer?
