Grilled pineapple is one of summer's best delights: it comes together in no time at all and makes the perfect topping
for teriyaki glazed meats. Or try it with your favorite vanilla ice cream or [olive oil cake](/content/blogs/field-notes/mandarin-ardor-olive-oil-cake/index.html)!

**Quick Grilled Pineapple**

Ingredients

- 1 ripepineapplepeeled, cored and cut into 3/4 inch thick slices
- [LUCID lemon olive oil](/content/products/lucid/index.html)
- Coarse crystal salt

Instructions

Preheat a grill or (grill pan) to medium heat - between 350 and 450 F.

Brush the pan or grill grates with plenty of [LUCID](/content/products/lucid/index.html) olive oil to
prevent sticking.

Place the pineapple slices on the grill in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and
tender.

Drizzle with a dash of [LUCID](/content/products/lucid/index.html) olive oil an a sprinkle of sea salt.

Serve the pineapple by itself, with teriyaki glazed meats, or as a topping for ice cream or [olive oil cake](/content/blogs/field-notes/mandarin-ardor-olive-oil-cake/index.html).
